Wiener, Crowley & St. John began as Wiener & Waters in 1970, a small two man brokerage operation out of Holbrook, NY. John Waters soon left the duo and Dennis Crowley joined in 1979 to form Wiener & Crowley. They expanded the operation to include distribution and quickly gained a reputation for quality products and excellent service.
Jim St. John joined with Leo Wiener and Dennis Crowley in 1996 to form what is now known as WCS Lumber. Shortly after they moved their facilities to a 30,000 sqft warehouse operation in Maspeth Queens. Leo Wiener retired from WCS in 2004. The company is now run by Dennis and Jim. Supported by their sales team, administrative staff and two warehouse crews.
